film 001

film 001 captures nightlife within automotive culture through camcorder footage and film photography.

Video was recorded on a Sony Handycam, with still photographs taken on an Olympus film camera. Everything was captured over a single night without a script, allowing the surroundings and unfolding moments to guide the material.

Pairing moving footage with film photographs offered two perspectives on the same night. The approach remained open to interpretation, giving viewers space to draw their own connections between the images and atmosphere.

The project covered creative direction, filming, photography, editing, graphics, and music curation. Originally shared on Instagram, the finished work now also appears in the iiinfluenced website archive.
